China: Get the hell out of Tibet you wanna-be imperialistic coward. If you must invade any country do Japan, as I am certain you have not forgiven it for its war crimes against you last century! Besides, Japan is destroying the planet with its Fukushima leaks. Better yet, invade the USA, as it owes you more moneys than it can ever repay, but get out of Tibet!
(TibetanReview.net, Jul15, 2017) – China appears to have failed thus far to either persuade or coerce the southern African country of Botswana not to allow a scheduled visit next month by Tibet’s exiled spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama. Tang Shenpieng, the director of politics at the Chinese Embassy in Botswana, declined to immediately comment, saying his office would issue a statement on the Dalai Lama’s visit soon, reported Reuters Jul 13.
The report said the Dalai Lama will address a human rights conference in the capital Gaborone over Aug 17-19 and will also meet Botswana’s president during the trip.
The report quoted a statement from the President’s office as saying, “President Ian Khama will meet the Dalai Lama when he is in Botswana. But the president’s attendance at the conference, for the official opening or otherwise, will be determined by his schedule.”
Botswana neighbour South Africa had denied a visa to the 1989 Nobel Peace laureate three times since 2009. These were strongly criticized by the country’s opposition parties and Archbishop Desmond Tutu who railed against China’s pressure behind the decision.
Botswana has apparently refused to bow to Beijing despite the fact that Chinese state-owned companies have been awarded contracts worth billions of pula to build roads, dams, power stations and airports in the country, the report said.
Reuters also quoted Lin Songtian, the Chinese Foreign Ministry’s director-general for African affairs, as saying Jul 12 in Beijing that allowing the Dalai Lama to visit Botswana would set back relations between the two countries.
“Botswana should not harm such a true friend and reliable development partner as China and challenge the core interest of China and the dignity of Chinese people,” he was quoted as having said.

Tenzin Choeyang, 19, was reported to have shouted “bod Gyallo! Bod Gyallo!” (Victory to Tibet! Victory to Tibet!) as he burned and also left a note saying he was doing it for Tibet.
The incident took place at 9:10am when Choeyang came out of the university’s men’s hostel and as visiting President Lobsang Sangay of the Central Tibetan Administration was speaking to students. He was reported to have poured two bottles of kerosene over himself before he torched himself and rushed out in a ball of fire.
Those who happened to be at the spot put out the flames after he had taken about 20 steps and rushed him to hospital.
Doctors at the Aditya Hospital near Banaras Hindu University where he was taken have said Choeyang had suffered 66 percent burns, with most of them confined to the lower half of his body. He was said to have suffered minimal burns to his head and facial areas. Though able to speak, doctors have said they could not guarantee yet that he would survive.
Choeyang, youngest of four brothers, comes from the Tibetan settlement in Kollegal town of Karnataka state. He is an active member of the Tibetan Youth Congress and a cousin brother of the well-known Tibetan independence activist Mr Tenzin Tsundue.
