Only two things to do:
Look at the gif, and listen to the music.
“It’s so loud inside my head with words that I never said/As I drown in my regret, I can’t take back the words I never said,”
Lupe Fiasco – “Words I Never Said
(ANTIMEDIA) — Protest songs are an important part of our culture. Unfortunately, music has moved away from the days when artists like Bob Dylan and Neil Young were cranking out incredible tunes railing against the government and establishment.
However, we seem to be experiencing a resurgence of that trend. While pop musicians like the Chainsmokers are singing about living in Paris and Bieber is apologizing and calling everybody baby, hip-hop has taken the torch that was passed from folk music to punk. Here are a few of the best “fuck the system” songs from the past two decades.
We’re revolutionizing the news industry, but we need your help! Click here to get started.
1. Lupe Fiasco – “Words I Never Said”
Lupe was born Wasalu Muhammad Jaco, and while a lot of his songs don’t have much to do with “the man,” this hit is a great track. The opening bars feature the lines, “I really think the war on terror is a bunch of bullshit, just a poor excuse for you to use up all your bullets.” The incredibly talented Skylar Grey also sings on the track, which stresses the importance of speaking out against injustice. “It’s so loud inside my head with words that I never said/As I drown in my regret, I can’t take back the words I never said,” goes the chorus.
2. Killer Mike – “Reagan”
Killer Mike’s music has always had an underlying tone of social commentary. During the 2016 election he campaigned with Bernie Sanders, and his group “Run the Jewels” has been enjoying a good deal of popularity recently. “Reagan,” which was released in 2012, features clips of the late president speaking. Reagan’s “War on Drugs” was a particularly painful endeavor that didn’t actually serve to curb drug use in the United States. As Killer Mike spits, “They declared the war on drugs like a war on terror/But all it really did was let the police terrorize whoever.”
3. Macklemore – “Drug Dealer”
Macklemore isn’t a typical rapper by anyone’s standards. The Seattle musician has made two songs addressing white privilege, and in a number of his hits, he discusses his struggles with opioid addiction. In “Drug Dealer,” he offers a more polished take. With stunning vocals by Ariana Deboo, this is the kind of tune you might want to sit down for.
4. Jedi Mind Tricks – “Uncommon Valor”
Jedi Mind Tricks dishes out the type of hip-hop that makes Jeff Sessions run and hide. They’re bold, in-your-face, and they have no qualms about speaking their minds. Perhaps their most admirable quality is the fact that that they never sold out. The Philadelphia-based musicians never put out an album with a major record label, and that left them free to rap about things they’re passionate about. In “Uncommon Valor,” the group addresses the Vietnam War with lines like “I don’t know why I’m over here, this job is evil/They sent me here to Vietnam to kill innocent people.”
5. Anti-Flag – “Die for Your Government”
Anti-Flag is one of the best punk bands of the last few decades. While many groups have lost their edge and gone mainstream, Anti-Flag has consistently cranked out hard-hitting punk for over twenty years. “Die for Your Government” is from 1996, and the chorus is the kind of kick-ass, gritty punk that will have you looking for a moshpit. Just try not to scream along with the lines. “They’ve done it before and don’t you know they’ll do it again/A secret test, government built virus ‘subject test group: Gulf battlefield troops.’”
6. Rage Against the Machine – “Bombtrack”
No list of protest songs would be complete without a Rage track. The group has enjoyed so much success that even Republican poster boy Ted Cruz lists them among his favorite bands (the group has termed Cruz part of the “machine” they’re raging against). “Bombtrack” features the lines, “Landlords and power whores/On my people they took turns/Dispute the suits I ignite and then watch ’em burn.” It’s a middle finger to the system and has had stadiums bouncing on their toes for decades.
7. Kendrick Lamar – “Alright”
Kendrick Lamar might just be the face of hip-hop; any serious fans of hip-hop are fans of Kendrick. “Alright” is a song off his wildly successful record To Pimp a Butterfly. It was so big even the New York Times did a profile of the rapper. The music video is incredibly powerful and features lines like “Painkillers only put me in the twilight.” Fox News’ Geraldo Rivera called a performance of the song “disgusting,” and if Fox News doesn’t like you, then you’re probably doing something right.
8. Immortal Technique – “Cause of Death”
Immortal Technique is another underground hip-hop artist that punches you in the gut with his songs. “Cause of Death” features killer lines including “That’s why conservative racists are all runnin’ shit/and your phone is tapped by the Federal Government.” He’s still performing today, and his albums have all been released by independent record labels.
9. Aimee Mann – “Can’t You Tell”
Aimee Mann is the oddball on this list in that she’s the only folk artist. Mann was featured on the “30 Days, 30 Songs” playlist. “Can’t You Tell” is a song that quite clearly targets Trump. While the rest of this list consists of hard-hitting tunes, “Can’t You Tell” will just have you humming along with lines like “I don’t want this job/can’t you tell/I’m unwell.”
With any luck, protest songs will once again become a large part of the musical spectrum. It’s both exciting and important that artists like Kendrick Lamar and Lupe Fiasco are making music that addresses the issues faced by our societies. The “Black Lives Matter” movement has already had a noticeable influence on hip-hop music.
Unfortunately, punk has seemed to drift away from the roots of a borderline anarchistic distaste for power-hungry suits. While it would be wonderful to see that fire return in the form of face-melting guitar riffs, the moment may well have passed.
From sustainability to the education system to protests against the Vietnam War, there’s a documentary here to interest everyone.

The use of corrosive liquids to disfigure people for life is becoming sickeningly popular.

In the early hours of Easter Monday at a glitzy club night in an east London bar, 20 people were sprayed with acid. The attack—which took place during a fight, allegedly over drugs, between two groups of men at Mangle, a bar in Dalston—prompted the evacuation of 600 guests. It left two people blind in one eye, two men with severe facial injuries, and a host of clubgoers needing treatment for scarring.
This weekend police arrested 24-year-old scaffolder Arthur Collins—boyfriend of TOWIE’s British reality TV star Ferne McCann—in connection with the incident. He has since been charged with 14 counts of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm and one count of throwing corrosive fluid on a person with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
The Mangle attack was one of four such attacks in the space of just 11 days in London over the Easter holidays. On April 8, a local Chinese family out for a walk with their two-year-old son in had acid thrown at them. Screaming in pain, they were doused in water by passersby. The 40-year-old father suffered “life-changing” injuries.
Less than a week later, on Good Friday afternoon, a man in his 20s was driving his Audi S3 in north London. A white SUV rear-ended him. When he got out to inspect the damage, he was sprayed in the face with ammonia and pushed to the ground before the carjackers sped off in his car. Last Wednesday, two days after the Mangle incident, a teenager suffered “life-changing” burns on his face and neck after he and a female friend were pelted with acid in west London.
It’s a pretty shocking sequence, but then you look at February: five acid attacks, all within a small radius around east London and Essex—a zone which appears to be the epicenter of acid attacks in Britain. There was the attack on a Tube train in Barking, at an amateur football game, and then a secondary school in Dagenham, in east London. Plus, there were two carjackings in Essex, including that of former boxer Michael Watson in east London’s Chingford. In November 2016, a British Pakistani businessmen had acid squirted in his face from an energy sports drink bottle in a racist attack by a gang of 14 teenagers in Dagenham.
In its 2017 Threat Assessment, Thurrock Council in Essex declared acid attacks “a new and rising concern in gang related violence.” In February, there were seven acid attacks in the borough of Havering in just three weeks. Last May, 17-year-old Alexander Bassey was sentenced to eight years in jail for grievous bodily harm after spraying five teenage boys with acid from a bottle at Ockendon train station. The list goes on.
Acid attacks are not new. The substance was a popular weapon in Victorian Britain, mainly because sulphuric acid was produced on an industrial scale then. It was also used as a tool of fear in gangland Britain, appearing in Graham Greene’s novel Brighton Rock, in the form of a small bottle carried by the book’s antihero gangster, Pinkie Brown. In southeast Asia, where acid attacks are sickeningly commonplace, they are primarily a weapon of domestic violence or “honor” violence, by men against women. It’s harder to think of a more malicious way of ruining someone’s life.
In recent years, there have been appalling incidents recorded around Britain: the man disfigured in a case of mistaken identity in Cornwall; TV host Katie Piper, who had acid thrown at her on the orders of a man who had raped her; the man left with terrible scars after bleach was tossed in his face outside a cinema in Sussex; and the Sun‘s gangland investigator, attacked with acid at his home in Glasgow. But now a trickle of attacks have turned into a flood.
There is a reason why acid is increasingly becoming a weapon of choice in 2017. Unlike high-profile UK victims such as Piper and Naomi Oni, who was attacked by her jealous friend disguised in a veil, the new wave of noxious chemical assaults in Britain are now chiefly carried out by young men on other young men—mainly low-level criminals using acid as a tool of revenge and for settling petty disputes.
For young armed offenders operating under increased crackdowns on knives and guns, a chemical weapon has an advantage: It can be carried incognito in a soft-drink bottle and is legal, cheap, and easy to get. Sulphuric acid, for example, in the form of drain cleaner, can be bought for just a few dollars in any DIY store. But crucially, acid is a weapon with a uniquely grotesque impact.
“The primary motive of an acid attack is not to kill, but to leave its mark on an opponent—to disfigure someone for everyone to see. That’s why the face is often the target,” Jaf Shah of the London-based charity Acid Survivors Trust International said. “The shocking thing about acid attacks is that they are so premeditated: The perpetrator is aware of the serious physical and psychological impact these chemicals will have on the victim when they are buying it. That’s what makes this weapon so chilling.”
Acid attacks have close links to Britain’s drug world. Last June, two brothers were jailed after throwing a bottle of One Shot drain cleaner over a homeless mother of six, Carla Whitlock, in England’s port city Southampton, in revenge for a drug deal gone wrong. The judge described their actions as “medieval barbarism” and acid as a “pernicious and evil” weapon. In 2009, a key witness in a murder trial involving rival teenage drug-dealing gangs from south London was attacked with acid after giving evidence.
“In the criminal world, to eradicate an enemy’s future by disfiguring them, you are the winner. It’s a horrible development.”
Acid’s ability to breed fear is potent. Despite suffering such terrible injuries, most victims of acid attacks do not seek justice for fear of retribution. A study carried out at a regional burns unit in Essex found only nine out of 21 victims pursued criminal charges against their attackers. According to figures released by the Met Police, three-quarters of police investigations into acid attacks are mothballed due to victims being unwilling to name the perpetrators or press charges.
Campaigners such as Shah say much stricter controls should be put in place to control the sale of strong acids and other noxious chemicals. He wants a licensing system ensuring that the details of people buying these products are recorded. There is also the option of introducing a ban on sales of acids to people under 18, using a similar law to the Intoxicating Substances Supply Act 1985, which was brought in to tackle rising glue and gas sniffing in the 1970s and 1980s.
“Acid is now a fashionable weapon of choice for criminals and gang members to exert control, to keep people in line, and for revenge attacks,” said Dr. Simon Harding, a gang expert at Middlesex University. “Young gang members are always looking for a way of gaining notoriety and ‘street capital.’ So in the criminal world, to eradicate an enemy’s future by disfiguring them, you are the winner. It’s a horrible development.”
Like glue and gas, if people want to get hold of acid, they will. Unfortunately, the more police clamp down on knives and guns, the more highly corrosive chemicals will be used as a method of settling disputes, spreading fear, and, in the most cowardly way possible, making a mark.

Residents of Flint, Michigan in the United States remain exposed to water contaminated with lead and bacteria three years since the water crisis first hit the headlines.
April 25, 2017
Residents of Flint, Michigan in the United States remain exposed to water contaminated with lead and bacteria three years since the water crisis first hit the headlines.
Anger is still palpable among its residents, who are facing the prospect of at least another three years before the problem is fixed despite the vast sums of money allocated to fix the problem. The people of Flint have now been without clean water for 1,096 days.
Lead levels have now reportedly dropped below federal standards, but the water remains contaminated with bacteria and residents have been advised to only drink bottled or filtered water.
Local and state officials have been accused of failing to do enough to fix the water, causing ongoing health problems due to pipe corrosion. The long-term effects to residents’ health have yet to be established.
In March, a judge ordered the state of Michigan to give the city up to $87 million to replace its lead-tainted pipes with steel ones. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently gave $100 million to Flint, following a vote in Congress.
The Flint water crisis began in April, 2014, when officials decided to change the city’s water supply from the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department (DWSD) to the Flint River in a cost-saving initiative.
City officials, however, failed to properly treat the water, which led to corrosion in the water pipes, many of which are made of lead. Dangerous levels of bacteria, including E.coli, also developed in the water.
When residents began to complain about the water smelling, tasting and looking different, officials denied anything was wrong.
Yet testing revealed dangerous levels of lead in the water, with traces of the metallic element doubling in the blood levels of children.
Officials delayed changing the water supply until October 2015, and a state of emergency was declared in January 2016.
Flint now says it will replace the lead pipes and the water will be drinkable in the next two to three years, meaning the residents of Flint will have endured serious water problems for up to six years.
On the three-year anniversary of the crisis, trust in Flint’s water and its officials remains as eroded as the city’s water pipes.
Frustration was evident at a town hall meeting last week with Mayor Karen Weaver and other officials. The meeting was held in a church and armed police were present. Six residents were arrested for disorderly conduct.
Harold Harrington of a local plumber’s union told independent media that the problem can be solved in less than three years, and that officials are not properly investing the money in personnel to do so.
“We could have 50 crews in here and get it done in less than two years easily,” he said.
In an effort to highlight the city’s ailing water supply, a camp has been set up at Kearsley Park, which calls for clean water and improved healthcare facilities to deal with long-term health issues resulting from the contaminated water.
Protesters are also calling for Governor Rick Snyder to be held accountable for his role in the crisis.
“Our goals are to connect the whole Flint community, including the local government and local police force,” the group said. “We hope to work with the city to ensure the best solution to the Flint Water Crisis for every resident of the city.”
Is President Trump preparing for war?
April 25th, 2017
With a U.S. Naval Fleet set to fully arrive off the North Korean coast this week and the rogue state’s leader Kim Jong Un reportedly continuing to expand his nuclear program and missile testing, President Donald Trump told United Nations Security Council ambassadors that the status quo must change. The President has asked that new sanctions be placed on North Korea, something his predecessors attempted to implement with little success.
But unlike his predecessors, Trump’s latest moves suggest he is prepared to commit U.S. forces to North Korea should the state fail to comply with demands to stifle their nuclear program, and according to a new report from Reuters, the President is doubling down on his efforts, hinting that he is indeed preparing military action.
Top Trump administration officials will hold a rare briefing on Wednesday at the White House for the entire U.S. Senate on the situation in North Korea.
All 100 senators have been asked to the White House for the briefing by Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis, Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats and General Joseph Dunford, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said White House spokesman Sean Spicer on Monday.
While administration officials routinely travel to Capitol Hill to address members of Congress on foreign policy matters, it is unusual for the entire Senate to go to the White House, and for all four of those officials to be involved.
Wednesday’s briefing was originally scheduled for a secure room at the Capitol, but President Donald Trump suggested a shift to the White House, congressional aides said.
Washington has expressed mounting concern over North Korea’s nuclear and missile tests, and its threats to attack the United States and its Asian allies.
Having all 100 U.S. Senators attend what is essentially an intelligence briefing about a country that has repeatedly threatened the United States with nuclear attack suggests that the President is looking to convince Congressional members that we may need to declare war on North Korea if they refuse to comply with new and existing sanctions.
Given that the United States now has a Naval strike group in the region, China has massed 150,000 troops on the border and Russia is quickly following suit, it appears that it is only a matter of time before a North Korea invasion becomes a reality. As we’ve witnessed in recent weeks, Kim Jong Un appears to be stepping up his rhetoric, as well as his military aspirations.
While the state has been allowed to run freely for the last decade by ignoring sanctions, President Trump has made clear that he is ready and willing to take military action as evidenced by his missile strike on Syria and most recently, the dropping of the Mother of All Bombs on an Islamic State cave complex in Afghanistan.
North Korea is a different animal altogether. They are reportedly nuclear capable, so there is a real possibility that they could launch a devastating attack on South Korea, Japan or even the West Coast of the United States, leading to hundreds of thousands of casualties and widespread geo-political and economic chaos. Thus, any attack initiated by President Trump will likely result in a response from North Korea, which could ultimately lead to a much wider conflict as we really don’t know which side Russia and China are on.
President Trump likely understands the seriousness of the situation, which would explain why he has invited 100 Senators to the White House for an intelligence briefing. Per the Constitution, only Congress can declare war, and it appears this is exactly the direction we’re headed.
So how do we keep ourselves out of the big picture and keep our online footprint to a minimum?
April 23, 2017
To get any of your information, it’s as easy as typing your email on Google and waiting for the results. Hackers and big companies alike can track you in many different ways – from stocking your photos to studying your check-in, to display customised advertisements on your social media pages. In short, these companies and individuals make big money from spying on you.
So how do we keep ourselves out of the big picture and keep our online footprint to a minimum?
Google Chrome is a widely used browser and because of its market, there are great tools and plugins available to customise your browser and check for yourself the websites who are stealing your information for profits.
It is one of the best advertisement blockers out there. AdBlock Plus will block most of the unwanted advertisements for you. It’s as simple as click and go.
This Chrome plugin does an amazing job in blocking the uninvited tracking cookies and third-party plugins on many websites. Ghostery shows you all the goings-on that are happening behind a simple webpage; giving you the option of blocking them all at once or one by one. This plugin isn’t limited to social media websites either, it also works around advertising systems and their publishers as well.
This extension is a lot like the one mentioned above, and it will alarm you of any type of script running on a website. The only difference between ScriptNo and Ghostery is that ScriptNo is going to run off on everything, while Ghostery will tell you what is going off on some things. Because of this plugin, you will see a lot of sites not load properly. Therefore, you will have to selectively enable some scripts that you think are required to run the websites – which will help you not to kill the actual information on the page.
In simple words, this is a feature that will allow you to mask your emails, give you strong passwords, and will enable your ‘do not track’ option.
However, be warned: Abine is a paid service.
It also gives you the option of not only stopping your traffic but masking your email address, too – one less worry about those spam emails coming, and your information going out to third-party vendors. Additionally, it also masks your credit and debit card information.
The plugin also allows you to stop the tracking of websites – putting a halt to all those third-party data exchanges happening at the back end of the web page. After installing this plugin, make sure to clear your browser history from the start, and log out of all the websites.
Finally, try using the ‘Incognito Mode’ whenever you can.
Firefox is also a famous browser and is mostly favoured by developers. Like Google Chrome, Firefox also has plugins that are altered for the Firefox browser.
Like Google Chrome, AdBlock Plus is also an important part of Firefox to enhance your browsing experience and save you from all the flow of annoying advertisements.
Just like Google Chrome, this plugin is also available for Firefox, giving its users information about hidden scripts. Using it is as simple as ‘click and block.’
All you need to do is go on the website and it will automatically detect what browser you are using. From there it will provide you with the compatible plugin; but before you do, you’ll need to register yourself.
Yes, you read that correct. Like Google Chrome’s ScriptNo, Firefox’s plugin NoScript does the same job. It provides you with the overwhelming stats of the web page you visit. However, the information it shows you is staggering and tends to block almost everything, which breaks the website. Therefore, you’ll have to select the scripts you want running in order for the web page to work properly.
However, if you like that everything on a web page shouldn’t run without your permission, then this plugin is for you.
This plugin was created by researchers at the International Computer Science Institute at Berkeley University. For now, the plugin is in its experimental stage and is only available to Firefox users.
However, this plugin will protect users from third-party cookies that are placed on many websites by Google+, Facebook, Twitter, among others.
We recommend installing AdBlock Plus, Priv3 and Ghostery if you’re not planning to install all of the above-mentioned plugins, as they will be enough for a normal user. NoScript is for users that have some knowledge of websites and want to have more control.
Lastly, log out of all the services you use on Firefox, clear the histories, and in Firefox’s settings, enable the ‘do not track’ option. For additional safety, use ‘private browsing.’
With the famous browsers now aside, let’s explain the ones that are found pre-installed within the operating system. Many people are still happy to use them. However, let us inform you that by using your default browsers, this doesn’t make you any safer.
Recently, an article was published by Microsoft explaining how Google bypassed user privacy settings on Safari and then tracked them. In response, developers at Microsoft created a list that you can employ on your Internet Explorer 9.
There are similar plugins, however, that have been developed for these browsers. Abine is available for both Internet Explorer and Safari. There is an AdBlock Plus for Safari and Internet Explorer, also.
Also worth mentioning is the CCleaner. You can use it for all of the browsers installed on your machine; to wipe out your history, forms, passwords, cookies, by a simple click. All you need to do is select the browsers and their content that you wish to delete.
It also shows browser plugins and allows you to enable and disable the plugins from one place.
There are many smartphone companies out there. Almost each and every one of them has developed their own browser, with the majority of users preferring the default browser. However, there are many browsers that come with options that can protect you. For instance, you can check to see if your browser has the option of ‘incognito mode’ or ‘privacy mode.’
In addition, when using social media services, try using their applications and not the browser. If you do use the browser for your social media or bank services, make sure to remove and delete the history on a daily basis.
If you want to download the browser, we recommend using Firefox for Android as it automatically detects and deletes your private data that builds up.
Moreover, for the iOS, we recommend using Dolphin Browser, for it also shares similar features.
If you know of any good plugins or extensions that we’ve missed, share them in the comments below. Happy browsing.

There was a 14.3 percent increase in murder and manslaughter, a 12.7 percent increase in rape and sexual assault and a 9.9 percent increase in serious assault.
There were almost 250,000 cases of migrants entering the country illegally, a 61.4 percent increase in comparison with the previous year. There was a 14.8 percent increase in weapons offenses and a 7.1 percent increase in drug offenses.
According to the statistics, illegal immigrants, refugees and asylum applicants were suspected to be responsible for 174,438 crimes, an increase of 52.7 percent in comparison with the previous year.
The number of German crime suspects fell by 3.4 percent to 1,406,184.
Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere said that the increase in migrant crime was “unacceptable” and promised to expel illegal immigrants who commit criminal acts.
“This is nothing to gloss over,” the minister said. “Those who commit serious crimes have forfeited their right to residency.”
He told journalists that “really vulnerable” refugees such as Syrians have committed less crime than the average, while illegal migrants from North Africa and Eastern Europe are responsible for a greater proportion. Most often, the perpetrators were young men, a group overrepresented among migrants and asylum seekers.
Christian Pfeiffer, a criminologist and former Justice Minister in the state of Lower Saxony, told Sputnik Deutschland that the statistics can be explained in large part by the demographics of recent migration to Germany. In the German population as a whole, the proportion of young males between 14 and 30 is nine percent. Among refugees and migrants as a whole, this proportion rises to 39 percent. Among North Africans, the proportion is 61 percent.
“With regard to North Africans, 61 percent are young men,” which explains the rise in violent crime including rape and murder.
“With this kind of (demographic) composition, you can’t expect anything else,” Pfeiffer explained.
These migrants in Germany are “isolated young men” without their families, who otherwise might be able to exert some control over them.
While war refugees from Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan are able to claim asylum in Germany, economic migrants from countries in North Africa or Eastern Europe that are not at war are being told to return home.
These migrants are being told, “You are the wrong ones, we really didn’t want you, we’re sorry you misunderstood the open borders. You can’t stay in Germany, you have to go back.”
After a long and dangerous journey to Germany, many of these illegal immigrants are angry and frustrated that they can’t stay there.
They commit an “extremely high proportion of violent crime,” and are responsible for offenses such as the New Year’s Eve sex attacks in Cologne, Pfeiffer said.
The criminologist added that Germans, along with citizens of other countries, are more likely to report crimes committed by migrants than by their compatriots.“When Max is attacked by Moritz, the likelihood of reporting is 13.4 percent. When Max is attacked by Mehmed, the likelihood is 27 percent.”
“In every country in the world, (crimes by) foreigners are more often reported than those of local people,” he added.
If the perpetrator and victim are of the same nationality and speak the same language, they might be able to resolve a fight or issue of criminal damage without involving the police.
“But if it’s a Syrian who doesn’t speak a word of German, then of course the Bavarian will report him or he won’t get any damages,” Pfeiffer explained.
According to a study of 20,000 migrants in Germany by the Criminological Research Institute of Lower Saxony, the same principle can be seen among the migrants themselves.
“If it’s Mehmed against Messud, charges will be pressed in ten percent of cases. If it’s Mehmed against Igor, the rate is 28 percent.”
“The United States is the most dangerous terrorist force on Earth, largely because it is run by rulers who forge lies all the time for waging wars and obliterating humans.”
Current president and Commander-in-Chief, Donald Trump, is himself the object of fraudulent US intelligence, accused of “collusion with Russian agents.” In a rare admission, the Washington Times this week described the US intel dossier against Trump as “riddled with fiction.”Yet, ironically, Trump, in turn, serves as a shameless conduit for US propaganda to fuel conflict with Syria and North Korea.
In the latter case, a world war could break out at any moment as a result of insane American goading. The dispatch of a US nuclear-powered submarine to the Korean Peninsula this week is just another reckless provocation by Trump.
On Syria, the Trump administration has slapped on more economic sanctions over an alleged chemical weapons incident earlier this month. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said the “sweeping sanctions” were because of “Syrian dictator Bashar al Assad’s horrific chemical weapons attack on innocent men, women and children.”Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov said the latest US sanctions were “unfounded” since there is no proof that the Syrian government used chemical weapons in Idlib Province on April 4.
Indeed, several respected international authorities, such as American professor Theodore Postol, a weapons expert at MIT, have dismissed official US claims about the chemical incident. The only “proof” provided by the US government and Western media are videos of alleged victims. That is, videos supplied by al Qaeda-linked terrorists and their media agents known as the White Helmets. This terror nexus is a creation of US, British and French military intelligence, financed with Saudi and Qatari money.
Thus, the April 4 chemical incident in Idlib was plausibly a “false flag” staged by Western-sponsored terrorist proxies to elicit American military attack on Syria. In other words, innocent people, including children, were murdered with lethal chemicals, and the whole macabre spectacle videoed for dissemination by the Western news media. It would not be the first time. The August 2013 “chemical weapons” incident near Damascus was probably also another macabre set-up by the terror groups. So, here we have an American president citing a false flag orchestrated by his own intelligence agencies to justify his subsequent order for a missile strike on Syria on April 7. And now we see the US government slapping punitive sanctions on Syria as a further warped response.
Of huge significance is the fact that the US, Britain and France have blocked Russian, Iranian and Syrian demands for an impartial on-site investigation to be carried out in the town of Khan Shaykhun where the chemical incident allegedly happened. As Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov pointed out, the Western powers do not want to find out what really happened because that would interfere with their agenda for regime change in Syria.By way of shoring up the false narrative on Syria, this week US media carried “reports” alleging that North Korea has been supplying the Syrian government with chemical weapons technology. As usual, no verifiable evidence is presented, just more bombastic assertions and concocted claims.
But we can see where this is going. US intelligence, mouthed by its president and controlled media, are laying down dots to entice the Western public to join up with false logic and prejudice, all so that the US authorities can give themselves a legal, moral mandate to justify aggression. Conveniently, the contrived North Korea-Syria connection allows for two birds to be hit with one stone.
The pattern of deception here by the US government, aided and abetted by propagandizing “news services,” is classic modus operandi. Time and again, down through history, the US ruling class have used false flags, distortion and outright lies to promote their hegemonic desires of inciting war, conflict and aggression. For a country like the United States, which has been waging war on other foreign nations for over 95 per cent of its history since its foundation as a modern state in 1776, it only stands to reason that such an astounding record of belligerence, decade-after-decade, must inevitably require a concomitant warmongering propaganda system in order to make it all possible.
We could mention, for example, the deliberate sinking of one of its own warships, the USS Maine, in Havana Harbor in 1898, which was used to instigate the Spanish-American War. That war was key to the US emerging as an imperial power in the Western Hemisphere.
The later sinking of the civilian passenger ship, the Lusitania, in 1915 off Ireland is another case of deliberate sabotage, to frame-up the Germans, which the US then used to launch itself into the First World War.More recently, the fabricated US claims of Afghanistan sheltering al-Qaeda terrorists and weapons of mass destruction in Iraq were invoked to sell American wars of revenge for 9/11 terror attacks in New York, which were themselves most probably propaganda stunts staged by US intelligence.
Another flagrant case of US authorities mounting a false flag was the Gulf of Tonkin incident, which served as a pretext for American escalation of the Vietnam War. In 1964, communist North Vietnam was framed up for allegedly firing on a US navy vessel. That incident allowed the US government to dispatch conventional armed forces to Vietnam. Some 50,000 US troops were killed in that 10-year war, as well as three million Vietnamese. The only beneficiaries were US corporations and the Pentagon war machine.
Of course, the US is not unique in using false pretexts to cover for acts of war and criminality. But there can be little doubt from any objective study of history that the US stands out – without any compare – as the biggest purveyor of false flags, lies and propaganda to promote its warmongering. Warmongering that has destroyed dozens of countries around the world and inflicted tens of millions of deaths.Today, we are on another cusp of US-led war. Syria has been set up with a brazen false flag over chemical weapons, which in all probability is a sickening charade by Western-sponsored terror groups.
Russia and Iran, by extension, are smeared as part of an “axis of evil” by the US propaganda system owing to their otherwise principled alliance with Syria to defeat Western-backed terrorist proxies.
Most alarming is the US false flag effort against North Korea. This small, independent nation, which is not at war with anybody, is, in fact, a victim of American aggression – an aggression involving the sailing of nuclear-powered submarines and warships to its coastal waters. And yet US President Trump, whose country has thousands of nuclear weapons enough to destroy the entire planet, is labeling North Korea as the “world’s number one threat.”
The United States is the most dangerous terrorist force on Earth, largely because it is run by rulers who forge lies all the time for waging wars and obliterating humans. The supposed Commander-in-Chief President Donald Trump is himself a target of US lies. Can you get any more deranged than that?

The decision last year by a majority of British voters to exit the European Union was more than a simple vote of the people. The Brexit campaign was promoted and financed by the most influential banks of the City of London and by the British Royal House. Far from the end of Britain, Brexit is far more likely to be the beginning of the end of the disastrous Euro single currency experiment.
Since the global financial crisis of 2008 little significant has been done by Brussels or the governments of the 19 member Eurozone countries to bring the largest banks of the Eurozone into a healthy stability. On the contrary, even venerable mega-banks like Germany’s Deutsche Bank are teetering on the brink.
In Italy the world’s oldest bank, Monte Paschi di Siena, is on state life-support. That is but the tip of an iceberg of Italian bank bad debts. Today in total Italy’s banks hold Italy’s banks hold €360 billion of bad loans or 20% of Italy’s GDP, which is double the total five years ago.
It gets worse. Italy is the fourth largest economy in the EU. Its economy is in dismal shape so bank bad loans grow. State debt is almost as high as that of Greece, at 135% of GDP. Now, since the 2013 Cyprus bank crisis, the EU has passed a stringent new bank “bail-in” law, largely under German pressure. It stipulates that in event of a new banking crisis, a taxpayer bailout is prohibited until bank bond-holders and, if necessary as in Cyprus, its bank depositors, first “bail-in” or take the loss. In Italy, most holders of bank bonds are ordinary Italian citizens, with some €200 billion worth, who were told bank bonds were a secure investment. No more.
German Austerity Medicine Killing Patient
A major problem is that the Eurozone economies have been forced to impose the wrong medicine to deal with the 2008 financial and economic crisis. The Eurozone crisis has been wrongly seen as states spending too wildly and labor costs rising too high. So, under again German pressure, the Eurozone countries in crisis such as Greece, have been forced to impose draconian austerity, slash pensions, cut wages. The result has been even worse economic recession and rising unemployment, rising bank bad loans. By 2015 Greece’s GDP had declined by more than 26%, Spain’s GDP by almost 6%, Portugal by 7%, and Italy’s GDP by almost 10% compared with 2008.
Austerity is never a solution to a state economic crisis. The example of the German economic crisis that erupted in 1931 in depression, unemployment and a banking crisis as a consequence of the severe austerity policies of Chancellor Heinrich Brüning ought to be clear enough to German authorities whose historical memory seems to have amnesia today.
Across the Eurozone more than 19 million workers are jobless. Greece, Italy, Portugal and Spain have a total of an unprecedented 11 million unemployed workers. In France and Italy unemployment is over 13% of the labor force. In Spain it is 20%, and in Greece a staggering 25%. This is all the state of economic affairs more than 8 years after the 2008 crisis. In short there has been no economic recovery in Euroland. Since 2009 the European Central Bank (ECB), the bank of the Euro, has made unprecedented moves to try to stabilize the banking crisis. They have only postponed not improved the situation.
Today as a result of ECB buying of mortgage bonds, corporate bonds, state bonds, and asset-backed securities, the ECB balance sheet is more than €1.5 trillion. The ECB, whose President is Italian Mario Draghi, has held interest rates in an unprecedented negative interest rates around -0.4% since June, 2014. The ECB has made clear that negative central bank interest rates will remain “for some time.” This is leading some to try to convince voters to go to a cashless society as India did last year with catastrophic consequences and as Sweden, not a Euro country, has largely done. If banks begin to charge their customers a fee for using customers’ deposits, an incredible thought for most, people would simply “take the money and run,” into gold or other safe assets, or cash.
The ECB negative interest rates are a sign of desperation to put it mildly. With interest rates on bonds across the Eurozone so low, many insurance companies are facing severe liquidity problems meeting their future obligations unless Eurozone interest rates return to more normal levels. Yet were the ECB to end its negative interest rate policy and its quantitative easing so-called, the debt crisis of many banks would explode from Greece to Italy to France to even Germany.
A Coming Currency War?
So, to put it gently, the Eurozone is a ticking debt time bomb ready to blow at the slightest new shock or crisis. We may well see that shock in the next two years, once Britain has completed its exit from the EU. Already the new Administration of Donald Trump in Washington has signaled a potential launch of currency war against the Euro. On January 31, US Trade Czar Peter Navarro accused Germany of using a “grossly undervalued euro to exploit” the US and Germany’s EU partners. Navarro went on to call Germany, the core of the Eurozone economies, a de facto “currency manipulator.” Navarro has stated, “While the euro freely floats in international currency markets, this system deflates the German currency from where it would be if the German Deutschmark were still in existence.”
Britain with the vast financial resources of the City of London, once free from the shackles of the EU membership, could well join with Washington in a full-scale covert currency war to bring down the Euro, something that would have devastating consequences for the Eurozone economies. Britain’s Pound is the third largest global payments currency after the dollar and the Euro. If Britain, free from the restraints of the EU can bring down the Euro, the Pound could become a major gainer–currency war with Britain on the side of Washington against the fragile Eurozone with their Italian, Greek, Spanish and other problems. Already British Prime Minister Theresa May is in discussions with the Trump Administration about forging a bilateral US-UK trade agreement and some in influential UK circles are talking of inviting the USA to become an associate member of the British Commonwealth. For the US dollar and Wall Street banks, wounding the rival to the dollar as central bank reserve currency is a very tempting thought. Now with Britain and the City of London soon to be free of EU restraints, the temptation might become reality.
All of this is because of the dysfunctional nature of the entire Eurozone project, a supranational currency with no democratic elected authorities to control abuses. The half-way dissolution of national sovereignty that the Maastricht Treaty introduced with the European Monetary System back in the 1990s, has left the EU with the worst combination in event of future crisis.

We can overcome the tyranny of inaccessible science hardware by building a movement for equity in science.
Professor of Geography and Environmental Science, Memorial University of Newfoundland
April 25, 2017
Without hardware, there is no science. From Hooke’s microscope to the Hubble telescope, instruments are modern science’s platforms for producing knowledge. But limited access to scientific tools impedes the progress and reach of science by restricting the type of people who can participate in research, favouring those who have access to well-resourced laboratories in industrial or academic institutions.
Scientists in developing countries, grassroots community organisations, and citizen scientists can struggle to obtain and maintain the equipment they require to answer their own research questions.
The result of this exclusion from participation is that scientific research becomes ever more elitist as a small number of people decide what the worthwhile and valid projects are. For example, the relative neglect of many tropical diseases and agricultural research on African subsistence crops demonstrates that local concerns in areas with limited scientific resources are often not sufficiently addressed by global science.
Likewise, public concerns and desire for transparency around technology can also be ignored. Research on fracking has received $137 million from the United States Department of Energy. But despite vocal concerns about water pollution, no affordable technologies have been developed for communities to use to monitor their own air or water, even though access to the relevant data from industry is difficult. Locking science inside ivory and industry towers restricts what it can look like.
The open science hardware movement challenges these norms with the goal of providing different futures for science, using hardware as a launching point. It argues that plans, protocols and material lists for scientific instruments should be shared, accessible and able to be replicated. The fact that a lot of modern scientific equipment is a consumer product that is patented, not supplied with full design information and difficult to repair also blocks creativity and customisation.
For example, open source project Oceanography for Everyone recently crowdfunded an open conductivity, temperature and depth (CTD) instrument out of frustration with the lack of low-cost instrumentation available. CTD instruments are the workhorses of oceanography research, and usually cost thousands of dollars. Oceanography for Everyone’s model achieves comparable data but costs US$300 to build, and the plans are public on GitHub. Think of OpenCTD like a really nice shirt. You could buy one for $40, or if you don’t have enough money but you do have a sewing pattern and some time, you could purchase the fabric for $5 and make it yourself, and even customise it to your needs and tastes.
Lower cost is only one goal of open science hardware. CERN, the European Particle Physics Laboratory in Geneva, pioneered an Open Hardware License to enable large-scale, open collaboration on projects. One of these, White Rabbit, is an electronic controller for precise synchronisation of signals across vast distances. White Rabbit ensures that some of the world’s largest particle accelerators are coordinated. But it’s also freely available to anyone, and has found new uses in designing smart electricity grids.
Instruments such as OpenCTD and White Rabbit are built on the premise of equality, the idea that everyone should have access to scientific tools. Yet the ability to access such tools is only half the story: it doesn’t address the acute disparities in who is creating science in the first place. And these are enormous. In 2015, The Guardian reported that Africa produces just 1.1% of global scientific knowledge. And recent data from UNESCO indicates that only 28% of researchers globally are women. Women do not represent 50% of scientists in a single country in the world.
Attempting to address this problem, several feminist laboratories create and use open science hardware. For example, the Civic Laboratory for Environmental Action Research (CLEAR) is a feminist marine pollution lab in Newfoundland, Canada. And the GynePunks are a group of bio-hackers at the forefront of DIY gynaecology, based in Barcelona.
These labs are not merely bringing more women and trans scientist-inventors into science-as-usual. They prioritise equity rather than equality, recognising that when people start from fundamentally different social, economic, educational and political positions, treating everyone the same does not overcome those differences. In doing so, they transform science in terms of how research priorities are chosen and articulated, what kinds of knowledge is considered valid, and, of course, how scientific tools are made and distributed.
Particularly valuable work is being done by groups attempting to move science out of the lab and into places and frameworks where it would not usually occur.
For example, Public Lab is a US-based environmental science community founded by frustrated citizens on the Gulf Coast following the Deepwater Horizon oil disaster in 2010. Getting accurate, timely and public high resolution data about local damage was impossible due to flight restrictions over the spill area and satellites are too far away to provide the same level of detail. So citizen scientists stitched together photos from cheap cameras suspended from helium balloons. The tools are open and accessible, and the research is done by and for local people without science degrees.
Likewise, the work of Lifepatch, an Indonesian citizen initiative in art, science, and technology which uses low-cost methods and open tools such as webcam microscopes, is deeply rooted in Indonesian collective culture. The questions of basic, daily life and everyday needs have driven projects with local communities on river water quality, bio-recovery of soils altered by volcanic eruptions and safe fermentation practices in collaboration with local academics.
All of these projects demonstrate the value of science grounded in specific places, complex local traditions, ethics, contexts and research questions, rather than a universal science that works the same everywhere for everyone. We need to push science towards communal, bottom-up, and collaborative practices; away from territorial, proprietary, institutional, Western-dominated and individualistic practices.
This has significant implications for where science happens, who is involved, and as a result, the types of knowledge that can be produced. Open science hardware is about creating new futures for science.
Psychedelics Create A Kind of Consciousness We Have Never Seen Before

April 25, 2017
The Cannabis flower is a special one for many reasons. Not only for the relaxed, joyful, euphoric and creative sensations it brings, but for how it specifically expands our consciousness. When the user (i.e. receiver) is tuned into the cannabis frequency, that is, tuned into the plant’s intention aligned with our own, awareness often grows into areas of the unknown which instantly changes our vibration.
The reason cannabis does this so well is due to its alliance with Gaia and the human template. It’s why THC, the primary psychoactive component in cannabis is so welcomed by the endocannabinoid system of the brain. That system is innate to the cannabis plant. It’s familiar and this instantly harmonizes the frequency within our DNA field and the pineal. This means that cannabis can interact in a multi-dimensional framework within the human’s field and change its own consciousness in the process. Psychoactive plants are particularly exceptional at changing their own awareness by using the human being as a conduit, but cannabis is one of the best hence its widespread use throughout the world. This is how incredibly aligned it is with the human. But if the user doesn’t tune in, all that is experienced is a buzzing which travels though the head and body with nowhere to go.
Nature’s psychoactive components are designed to transition our current reality, and they do this while synchronizing perfectly with the human field to send the user down another path that is quite different from everyday life. It can shift those seeking other levels of consciousness through portals to experience a different reality, one where common interactions are enhanced, especially since all senses must shift up. Sight, hearing, taste, smell, touch, and extrasensory perception are all enhanced. This makes food taste better, visuals appear more alive, heightened sexual experiences, and a nose that will track down your most desired scents. This is all completely dependent on the user’s intention to align with the cannabis frequency, one that requires permission to show you its beauty.
On the flip side, it can also allow other less pleasurable frequencies to internalize, hence paranoia. So it can both expand and contract consciousness depending on the user’s alignment and intention. This is one reason why adults above 30 years of age (who are new to cannabis), can have very different experiences than those consuming it for the first time at a much younger age. This relates to differences in the maturity of sexual energy, wisdom attained, intentions, relationships, and many other lifestyle factors that influence how the cannabis frequency is integrated within.
Getting high recreationally and expanding our awareness with cannabis in meditation can be two very different things. When the consciousness of the human being is in a state of expansion, cannabis brings a sense of wisdom that is unique because it delivers concepts through Gaia. These concepts end up being intimately related to our lives, since nature reflects a part of itself onto every aspect of us, just as we do to nature. It goes deeper than that. It can connect with not only our own lives, but other lives recorded on the planet through consciousness imprints while it gathers conceptual data. This includes data from those present on the planet and those who have past. Meaning it can retrieve information relevant to concepts it seeks to illustrate from today or from thousands of years ago. All psychoactive plants can do this through their unique interface with our field.
Cannabis brings the underlying operating system to the surface. Shamans have used it for thousands of years for this purpose, to bring mindfulness where there is none so that we can see the world through an upgraded landscape that connects people to something more beautiful than what they know. Many of the shamans of today, those all around us, are just starting to realize it.
So let us welcome what is now the full expression of cannabis, marijuana, weed, pot, ganja, etc, imprinting its consciousness on the world, embracing all the beauty it provides if we choose to tune in. Are we are ready for new lessons?
“It seems that only all out war will ever settle these power plays for the dominance or death of the U.S. petrodollar, which is ultimately controlled by the same few hands that steer and control the central banks of nearly all the world’s nations,” wrote Mac Slavo.
President Vladimir Putin has proposed to withdraw the Russian state from the international banking system
Russia is one of the more powerful nations in the world. With the power, however, comes enemies. One of its enemies has a slight financial hold over Russia, and that power comes in the form of Dollars. The relationship between the east and west is now at a stalemate; Moscow’s reaction to western encroachment and accusations comes from President Vladimir Putin, who has proposed to withdraw the Russian state from the international banking system, moving towards a more traditional gold-based system.
Russia isn’t alone in this. BRICS nations such as Brazil, India, China, and South Africa are all planning their exit from the international banking mafia for more financial independence.
However, for President Putin, the threat came in the form of the Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication system, or the SWIFT system, which allows easy transfer of money internationally, such as via American express. The problem, however, is the international banks are threatening to bar Russian access from this system if they leave the ‘big club.’
Many economists have informed the world leaders of the consequences facing them if they remove Russia from the SWIFT system. Ewald Nowotny, an economist and a policy maker for the European Central Bank highlighted how if Russia is removed from the SWIFT system international companies conducting business in Russia will be the first to suffer.
However, according to Elvira Nabiullina, a Russian economist and former economic advisor to President Putin and the head of the Central Bank of Russia, if Russia is removed from the Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications then Russia’s banks won’t collapse. She explained how they have devised a new system that will continue operations in the SWIFT format and will work as an alternative for the country.
According to a report published last year, more than three hundred banks in Russia have adopted the SWIFT alternative – the System for Transfer of Financial Messages, or SPFS as the Russians call it.
Furthermore, to enhance the SPFS system, Russia’s Central Bank’s first international branch in Beijing was opened, and the Chinese opened a financial institution in Russia to strengthen the financial relationship between the two nations and the beginnings of the ‘de-dollarization’.
As for the Federal Reserve and other international financial institutions that trade in non-physical currency and futures, and all other riskier practices; are now buying bulk quantities of physical gold – leaving their old practices behind.
According to Mac Slavo who writes for SHTFplan, the NGOs ran by Soros have been questioned and kicked out, along with Rothschild establishments.
“It seems that only all out war will ever settle these power plays for the dominance or death of the U.S. petrodollar, which is ultimately controlled by the same few hands that steer and control the central banks of nearly all the world’s nations,” wrote Mac Slavo. “Only by stealth and monotony have these activities remained in the shadows.”
“That is not “socialism”. Socialism is “share the wealth”, not steal all of the wealth.”
Constant economic predation. Ever more reckless military acts from ever more-desperate regimes. This is the New World Order – the real one.
April 26, 2017
Regular readers are familiar with the Old World Order: the cabal of Western oligarchs who control not only our own puppet governments, but generally dictate events to most nations around the world. The vehicle used by these oligarchs to maintain their (economic) control over Western governments to keep them meek and submissive is the One
Regular readers are also familiar with this entity. The One Bank is a banking crime syndicate. Its dimensions have been previously defined in the computer modeling of a trio of Swiss researchers. The finding of that model is that by itself this crime syndicate controls roughly 40% of the entire global economy – all of the most important sectors.
What is one of the biggest problems for the One Bank? When you are a crime syndicate which controls 40% of the global economy, it becomes hard to continue to hide in the shadows.
The solution? The oligarchs resorted to the same solution they use to cover up all of the One Bank’s mega crimes: propaganda. In this case, it was disinformation. The oligarchs went and borrowed a metaphor which already existed in the extremes of conspiracy-theory writing: “the New World Order.”
They then began spreading this disinformation on a much larger scale than any of the previous conspiracy-mongering in this area. To give the disinformation a veneer of plausibility, the oligarchs of the Old World Order even allowed themselves to be (supposedly) linked to the mythological New World Order.
What is the NWO supposed to be? According to the propagandists (inadvertent and otherwise) who promote it, it is a secret socialist, one-world government being constructed “above” the level of our own pathetic puppet governments.
How do you hide if you are a crime syndicate which controls 40% of the global economy? Where do you hide? Inside a great, big lie.
Alert and intelligent readers should automatically dismiss this NWO as nothing but absurd propaganda. What has the OWO been doing, perpetually and ravenously? Stealing all of the wealth of the masses and piling it atop the own obscene hoards of the oligarchs.
That is not “socialism”. Socialism is “share the wealth”, not steal all of the wealth.
It has become so easy to fool most people with vacuous ideological labels. Barack Obama was frequently labeled a “socialist” by much of the brain-dead Right. What did Obama do for eight years? He stole from the bottom 80% of the U.S. population and gave to his Masters: the Top 0.01%. That is not socialism either. Just another reverse-Robin Hood, right-wing government: steal from the Poor; give to the (very, very) Rich.
There is no “new world order”. There is only the Old World Order, or at least this has been the case for many, many decades up until now.
There is great irony here. The Old World Order invented the myth of the “New World Order” to hide its raping-and-pillaging of the planet. But it is precisely this continuous and ever more rapacious plundering that has now resulted in the rise of an actual New World Order.
This NWO is not a crime syndicate of psychopaths like the Old World Order. Neither is it some totally ridiculous ideological contrivance like the (mythological) New World Order. The real New World Order that is coming into existence today is an association of necessity, led by China and Russia, to help the nations of the Rest of the World protect themselves from the psychopathic West, and the oligarchs in control of it.
Remember the demise of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War? Weren’t those happy times? The “evil” Soviets had been defeated, and now we were all going to live happily ever after. China and even Russia were wooed by the West – old enemies becoming new friends.
However, when the oligarchs of the One Bank learned that Russia and China had no intentions of serving the West (i.e. the Old World Order), this new friendship quickly deteriorated. The next thing we knew, the Corporate media in the West were back to Cold War rhetoric, simply substituting “Russia” for “Soviet Union”.
Russia was first in the cross-hairs because it had never really benefitted from the new (supposed) era of cooperation between East and West. Put another way, the oligarchs had invested nothing in their faux friendship with Russia. Meanwhile, their puppets in the Corrupt West had already begun targeting nations allied to Russia.
One of the ways these puppet governments have been covering up their own campaign of naked aggression is through fabricating a massive blanket of propaganda. Every act of naked aggression by the West was supposedly a “reaction” by these fascist governments to supposed aggression from Russia’s allies or even Russia itself — or else “the terrorists” (the West’s mercenary henchmen).
It culminated when the U.S. staged a coup in Ukraine, Russia’s closest neighbour and ally. The coup was justified according to the West because the regime previously in power was corrupt. There are two obvious rebuttals to that pathetically flimsy argument.
After the U.S. staged that coup, demonization of Russia dramatically escalated, along with the military campaign against Syria – another Russian ally. Economic terrorism was launched against Russia’s economy. The ruble was ruthlessly attacked by the convicted currency manipulators of the One Bank. Oil prices were manipulated dramatically lower, with Barack Obama publicly boasting that this manipulation was “a part of the U.S. strategy” against Russia.
Soon, even China was targeted. China had outlived its usefulness as a (low wage) jurisdiction for Western multinational corporations. The Chinese people now wanted to be paid decent wages, so the oligarchs had already begun to shift their corporate operations to other even lower-wage jurisdictions.
The excuse for (once again) referring to China as an enemy was/is the South China Sea. While the West flexes its muscles by dropping bombs on the heads of people in Africa and Asia, the Western media has been relentlessly demonizing China for building artificial islands in essentially unoccupied waters.
Building islands or dropping bombs? Which is the more deplorable international crime? According to Western media, it is (conveniently) the “crime” of building islands.
This renewed aggression against Russia and China by the West did not spawn the Rest of the World’s “New World Order”. Instead, this aggression is the belated realization by the West’s psychopathic oligarchs of the existence of this new, world order. While the oligarchs have been busy destroying everything in sight, China and Russia were attempting to build something.
Here China has taken the lead with its Belt and Road Initiative. Loosely based upon China’s ancient “Silk Road”, it is the world’s largest project in terms of infrastructure and economic cooperation, even larger than the Marshall Plan at the end of World War II.
The Marshall Plan was an enormously successful initiative where the oligarchs actually worked on fixing all of the damage and destruction they had engineered after manufacturing World War II. In contrast, the Belt and Road Initiative is a plan to economically fortify (first) Asia and (then) the Rest of the World against the Corrupt West.
Along with this, China and Russia have constructed “parallel” economic institutions which now exist side-by-side with similar Western-based institutions. The great joke here is that while China and Russia have publicly spoken of these institutions existing in conjunction with their (corrupted) versions in the West, the oligarchs can clearly see that they are intended to replace Western-based institutions.
With which institutions would the Rest of the World prefer to do business: entities rancid with corruption like the World Bank and the IMF, or an honest broker like the Asia Development Bank?
Constant economic predation. Ever more reckless military acts from ever more-desperate regimes. The psychopathic empire of the One Bank has simply become so intolerable and so dangerous that the Rest of the World is being forced to unite as a mechanism of self-preservation.
This is the New World Order – the real one.
It really is “new”. It really does involve the “world” (except for the Corrupt West). And it really could/should lead to “order”, not the ever-worsening chaos as the One Bank regularly orders its puppet governments to destroy any nation that gets in its way.
What the New World Order is not is any sort of one-world government. What the New World Order is not is some (supposed) “socialist utopia”.
The new, world order being crafted by China and Russia is non-ideological. It is non-controlling. Another great irony here is that as Western regimes have gotten increasingly corrupt, belligerent, and simply evil, the Eastern powers have become relatively more virtuous.
Perhaps it was simply being able to observe how not to run the world (for several decades), but China and Russia have seemingly adopted the doctrine of Enlightened Self-Interest. By helping neighbouring nations and acting as honest brokers in the global community, China and Russia see the surest path to their own prosperity and security.
Another thing that the New World Order is not is perfect. As global powers, China and Russia do not resemble White Knights, merely the lessers-of-evil – much less evil. The New World Order coming into existence today is not some ideologically based pipe-dream. It is a construct of pragmatism, designed to help nations co-exist and (hopefully) prosper. In time, perhaps it will replace the United Nations – another corrupted Western institution.
The real NWO will succeed as the new “order” in the world because the Old World Order has succeeded in making itself obsolete.
Despite its carefully-crafted image as an essential public servant, Griffin concludes it is anything but. The Fed is a private cartel that has connived its way to tremendous advantage and power, secretly (and not-so-secretly) plundering the American people of their treasure and freedoms.
G. Edward Griffin, the author of the seminal book on the formation of the Federal Reserve, The Creature of Jekyll Island, joins the podcast this week to add his perspective to our ongoing critical examination of the Fed and the impact its actions are having on society.
Meeting Ed and getting to spend time with him was a real honor for Chris and me. His breadth of knowledge of the central banking system as well as his engaging manner of storytelling are masterful. Plus, he’s simply a wonderfully kind person.
Ed’s decades of research and critique of the Federal Reserve, sadly, have left him with conclusions that corroborate our own. Despite its carefully-crafted image as an essential public servant, Griffin concludes it is anything but. It is a private cartel that has connived its way to tremendous advantage and power, secretly (and not-so-secretly) plundering the American people of their treasure and freedoms.
On The Fed’s True Goals
[In researching the Federal Reserve] I was looking for a very complex mechanism. And I couldn’t believe at that time that there would be deliberate deception in this system. So, I was working on the false assumption that everybody in the system was doing their best to make it work on behalf of mankind and on behalf of society. Initially, I never entertained the idea that its goal was not to benefit mankind at all.
And so, where one would say, look: the Federal Reserve system is failing to meet its goals — because it said its goals were to stabilize the economy and to preserve purchasing power, etc. — I finally came to the realization: No, those are not its goals.
If we understand what its goals really are, then it’s not failing at all. It’s succeeding amazingly well.
And most people, as I initially did, have found that an impossible assumption to entertain. They simply can’t get over it.
On Whether The Fed Is A ‘Conspiracy’
Most dictionary definitions of the word “conspiracy” seem to agree that a conspiracy occurs when:
- two or more people come together
- they use methods of deceit and deception to achieve a goal
- which is unethical or illegal.
Those are the three requirements. So talk about the Fed:
Are there two or more people? Oh, yeah. OK, there’s one down.
Do it use methods of secrecy? Yes. It has secret meetings [beginning from its very conception at Jekyll Island] . It has closed meetings in which the public is excluded and the minutes of which are not shared for years, sometimes decades, sometimes never. Yes, of course, elements of the Fed’s activities are highly secretive.
And is the result either unethical or illegal? Well, now that’s where it gets interesting.
Because first of all, it’s not illegal what they’re doing — because the banking industry has heavy influence over the people who write the laws. That’s the reason the banks are so involved in the political system: so they can write the laws. So, that what they want to do is legal.
So, the Federal Reserve is plundering people legally. But is what its doing unethical? The propaganda is that the Federal Reserve is ‘stabilizing the economy’. They’re doing it for the American people.
But you and I, or anybody else that’s not on the receiving end of all this money flow that the Fed has created, we look at what they’re actually doing and most of us would say it’s highly unethical. Our wealth, our economic prosperity and financial freedom — all are being siphoned away — for the benefit of a very small elite few. I think most people who they really understand what the Federal Reserve is doing would agree that’s unethical.
And there’s where you meet the definition of a conspiracy, though I don’t insist anybody call it that. Just call it what it is: a group of people who know what they’re doing and are plundering us.

“The three ideological fundamentalisms are currently as follows: Islamism, personified by Islamic State [IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL]; a pseudo-communism, manifested by the DPRK [North Korea]; and the liberal-globalization represented by certain elites of the West.
“These threats are, of course, unequal in scope and ideological roots, but they have much in common: each resorts to blackmail and threats, as well as use of force, visual and media effects, relying on zombie activists ready for everything for the sake of an idea,” Kosachev, the head of Russia’s upper house Committee for International Relations, wrote in an opinion piece published in Izvestia daily on Monday.
These threats have come from where they were least expected – from within, Kosashev notes.
“The peoples of Western countries have begun to show discontent with the ruling elite becoming increasingly out of touch with the population. However, instead of a preemptive transformation of the system, it reacted with a completely authoritarian scheme: first, by seeing in the goings-on some ‘intrigues of the enemies’ from the outside. Second, by extremely demonizing those who oppose the system, exposing them as ‘new dictators’. And third, by accusing the people of allegedly being fond of populism. Although what they call populism is in fact an attempt by politicians to respond to the voice of the people, not the elite.”
“The current elites of the West have long gone from the real alternatives in domestic politics to the system where the same liberal parties with different names replace each other, and strengthening of a slightly more right or left [party] than ‘necessary’ is causing a shock. As a result, instead of the traditional task of winning democratic elections in Europe in 2017, we hear a slogan sounding like a quote from Lenin: ‘The European Fatherland is in danger!’”
“There is a small hope that, having ceased to feel like life is a ‘sinking ship’, the global liberal elites will calm down a bit and, among other things, will reduce the tonality of their campaigns against the external ‘enemies of European values’, among which Russia is the main one.
“Otherwise, the third global threat – the threat of Western fundamentalism – will continue to be relevant with its readiness to organize a ‘liberal jihad’ in the form of another coup d’état, ‘humanitarian intervention’ or ‘color revolution’ anytime, anywhere in the world,” Kosachev concluded.
“The statement made by UK’s Defense Minister Michael Fallon calls for a harsh response and I’m not afraid of going too far. At best this statement may be seen as an element of a psychological war, which looks especially revolting in this context,” Frants Klintsevich wrote on Facebook.
“There is a quite natural question then: what country could be primitively targeted by the UK?” the deputy head of the Federation Council’s Committee for Defense and Security said.
In case the UK strikes a nuclear power, then “the UK, which doesn’t have vast territory, will be literally wiped off from the face of the earth with a counterstrike,” Klintsevich said.
In the event of targeting a non-nuclear country, this will remind of the US nuclear attack on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, he added.
Klintsevich’s comment comes after Fallon on Monday said that the UK is prepared to carry out a preemptive nuclear strike against any enemies, even if Britain is not under attack.
“In the most extreme circumstances we have made it very clear that you can’t rule out the use of nuclear weapons as a first strike,” Fallon said on the BBC’s Today program, however not specifying what “most extreme circumstances” imply.
“The whole point about the deterrent is that you have got to leave uncertainty in the mind of anyone who might be thinking of using weapons against this country,” he said.
The UK’s four submarines operating under the Trident nuclear program will be renewed, following last year’s vote in the House of Commons. The move is expected to cost up to £225 billion (about US$285 billion) over its service lifetime and is currently a matter of a heated debate among the Tories and Labour Party.
A recent report by the UN Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR) showed that the threat of a “nuclear weapon detonation event,” accidental or deliberate, is “arguably at its highest in the 26 years since the collapse of the Soviet Union,” as relations between nuclear powers continue to deteriorate.
