One comment on “Could marijuana help fight obesity in America?

  1. Well, I can honestly say that the people who I know who get high, don’t look around for a bag of carrots or a stalk of celery when they get the ‘munchies’. They are looking for cookies, chips, cake and everything else that’s loaded with calories. And though Minnesota, the state I used to live in, legalized medical marijuana, the poor could not afford it because the price was out of reach. and the poor are also the most likely to purchase foods, high in caloric content due to their poverty status. I see no real benefit to this with regards to a means of weight loss; at least not for the poor.
