      • I saw her comment. I don’t think it is inevitable. I’m still thinking about how to get around that taser bit and knock out the robot. They don’t hold all the cards. They want us to think they do.

      • Read the comment again, Leslie. That was exactly my point: people can be smarter than robots, but do they WANT TO? The inevitable I referred to is the construction and deployment of AI policing, not that people will continue to take it up the ass without protest. There will come a time, whether it’s too little too late remains to be seen, when people will start really, I mean, really pushing back. But as long as they are not hungry enough and mad enough to die for it, their rebellion remains doomed. When people are truly willing and ready to lose everything and to die for what they want, that’s when they’ll get it, not one moment sooner. It’s the way it’s been and nothing has happened to change the pattern. Isn’t the so-called “war on terror” against those kinds of people? The “West” hates and fears them, but they are the example the protesters from the West are going to have to adopt, and adapt their lives to. You’ll be hunted; you’ll be on the run; you’ll be captured and tortured; your daughters will be used as sex slaves and they’ll make you watch; your young children will be slaves; you will die by the thousands. That’s your future if you decide to rebel. If not, you can live in Brave New World (and if you still feel entitled to humane and humanitarian treatment from your leaders and bosses you’re already living in Brave New World. Two choices. No middle ground. Take this as a projection, or a prophecy, same result.

      • Now you see, from my point of view, I say that’s the correct attitude. No ambivalence, that’s what kills a protest or a revolution or a rebellion. All or nothing. Easier said than done…

  1. This development was and is, inevitable. I’ve always known it would come to this. That’s one of the reasons I watched “Terminator” so many times. Every force has a counter force, “we the people” just need to stop being such F*****G complacent, compliant jerks and start using the mind/brain thing located in the head. Remember that meme you posted, with Morgan Freeman saying, “Maybe if we tell them the brain is an app, they’ll start using it?” What does it take to beat a robot? Human brain; persistence, desire, unpredictability and if these are pushed by fear, anger and a desire for revenge, the tin cans won’t have a chance. But you see, this whole robot propaganda is fear-inducing. It’s designed to make people already believe they have lost before they even think of fighting back. Think: that is also why they’ve pushed so hard to destroy non-material thinking. People like myself who know they have life in infinite measure; that one physical life is just a short experience among an endless amount of such, are not so easily cowed by threats of physical violence or incarceration. Bring back a sense of mysticism; of spirituality; of philosophy; of ability to think outside the designer box and humans can take back their world, and can make their world into something they can live with. What will it take? THEY HAVE TO BE PUSHED AGAINST THE LAST WALL. They have to see their families and friends taken, disappeared or killed. Every “resistance” movement arises from unbearable oppression. In these countries that hasn’t happened yet. Fuck the robots they won’t be any worse than those SS in France. They were robots with an attitude.
